Haiti's Food Vendors
"In the past, I could buy three or four sacks of grain for what one sack would cost me today," says Silmani Baltazar,
a food vendor in Pétionville, Port-au-Prince. Since Haiti was hit by a devastating earthquake in early 2010,
food prices have spiraled to record levels, forcing residents to cut back on meals and quality of food.
